As the weather begins to heat up across Ireland, members of Dublin Fire Brigade are warning renters and homeowners to be aware of moving some items away from home windows as they could start a fire.
A spokesperson for the fire brigade has warned that glassware on or near ledges could cause fires if sunlight gets reflected onto flammable surfaces.
It has been said: "Just a gentle reminder to remove mirrors, glasses, and vases from window ledges or anywhere they might be exposed to direct sunlight.
