A third man in his early 20s has been arrested by gardaí following a string of potentially deadly crimes.
Gardaí are investigating criminal incidents of arson and the discharge of a firearm in the Ronanstown and Clondalkin areas, between May 8 to 15.
The man was arrested this Thursday morning and is currently being detained at an unnamed garda station in Dublin, under the provisions of Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007.
This is the third arrest as part of this ongoing investigation.
Gardaí previously arrested two other men, both also in their early 20s. One of these men was charged, and has since appeared before the Criminal Courts of Justice.
The other was released without charge.
