Gardai have seized a firearm along with ammunition during a search operation in Ballymun in Dublin.
A quantity of drugs – cocaine, diamorphine and cannabis – was also seized along with a number of weapons during the search under Operation Tara.
A spokesperson said investigations are ongoing.
Operation Tara is a national anti-drugs strategy, which was launched by Garda Commissioner Drew Harris in 2021.
