A group of local residents is calling on all the relevant agencies to help them solve flooding of lands around the Murvagh River.
Thomas McGarrigle spoke to the Donegal Democrat on behalf of the group from the Laghey and Ballintra areas.
“The problem is getting worse every year,” he explained. “The river has already burst its banks twice this winter, in November and December, making 3km of roads impassible for nearly a week each time.
