Dunfanaghy set for second "Craic" event

Dunfanaghy is set to host its second annual “Wild Atlantic Craic” festival this June Bank Holiday weekend.

Following on from the success from last years event in Dunfanaghy this years event takes places from June 5 to 8.

The weekend will see the town buzzing with great Irish, Celtic and folk music and gigs in all of the town's hotels and bars with highly acclaimed musicians from Donegal and beyond.

World champion Irish dancers Gavin and Niamh Shevlin will be performing. Live theatre will be provided by the Cloughaneely Players who deliver two performances of Flann O'Brien's "Thirst. 

There will also be special storytelling and creative arts workshops in The Workhouse on both Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

There will be Poc Fada on the beach on Saturday afternoon, weather permitting.
