There was a large turn-out of Donegal bikers to help with the annual delivery of Easter eggs to the Donegal Women’s Domestic Violence Service.

Members of the Donegal Motorcycle Action Group delivered the treats to the service, for distribution to families in the DWDVS refuge and those who use the DWDVS service.

The gift of the Easter eggs means a great financial savings for the families involved, particularly in this time of recession, and help to make a difficult situation a little easier, said a DWDVS spokesperson.

The service offered their thanks to all the bikers who donated the Easter eggs and gave of their time to deliver them. Members of the Donegal Motorcycle Action Group also deliver toys to DWDVS offices at Christmas, for distribution to families using the service.
