Appeal to not drive under the influence after motorist in Donegal tests positive for cannabis

The motorist was arrested following detection at Operation Fanacht checkpoint

Letterkenny Roads Policing Unit arrested a driver who tested positive for the presence of cannabis at an Operation Fanacht checkpoint.

Gardaí issued the following appeal to motorists: "Please do not risk your life and also the lives of others by driving whilst under the influence of alcohol or drugs."
