Immense sadness at death of Donegal Town teenager Kaitlyn Glackin
A Donegal Town teenager who bravely battled illness for much of her young life has passed away at the age of 15.
Kaitlyn Louise Glackin of Aughlim, Donegal Town, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 4 surrounded by her loving family. Her untimely death follows a long illness which she fought with great courage.
She is mourned by her beloved family, including her devoted father Aidan; her sisters Clodagh and Niamh; her brother Tiernan; her cherished grandparents Gerard and Evelyn; her aunt Colette and partner Terence; her extended family circle, neighbours and friends.
The family home is strictly private.
Kaitlyn’s funeral Mass will take place in St Agatha’s Church, Clar, on Friday at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard. The Mass can be viewed on the church webcam
Family flowers only; donations in Kaitlyn’s memory if so desired to Barretstown Children’s Charity care of George Irwin Funeral Directors or any family member.
