Catriona Devine joined the Donegal medal winners at the World Masters Athletics Indoor Championships.

The Finn Valley AC woman took bronze in the 1500m at Arena Toruń on Saturday morning.

Devine clocked 5:06.95 to seal a place on the podium.

Her fellow Irish athlete Mary Leech won the W45 gold in 5:02.79 with Australian Evette Cordy sealing silver in 5:06.30.

The Castlefin woman has been a stellar medal winner since first lacing her runners as a youngster under the tutelage of her father, Peadar McGranaghan.

Kay Byrne, who won a cross country gold on Monday in Toruń, was sixth in the W60 1500m, finishing in 5:45.81.

Finn Valley’s Garvin Boyce was seventh in his M50 1500m heat on Friday evening. A season’s best of 5:18.60 wasn’t enough to advance.

Devine’s sister Sinead McConnell will return with three medals having taken bronze in the 3k race walk, silver in the 10k race walk and guiding Ireland to team bronze over the 10k.
