Raphoe celebrate winning the Intermediate League title.

Raphoe Hockey Club marked their return to the Ulster Premier Division in fine style on Friday night.

Johnny Long bagged a hat-trick as Raphoe scored nine goals at the Royal and Prior School Grounds.

The win ensured that Raphoe ended the Intermediate League season unbeaten.

The Richard Tinney-coached side had already secured the League title, but were keen to sign off on a winning note.

Leading 5-0 at half-time, Raphoe never looked in danger.

Long’s treble was added to by two apiece by Matthew Peoples and Sam McKnight while Ian McGonigle and Steven Cleverly were also on target.
