Taylor Parke is bidding to book a place in his latest Irish final this weekend.

Raphoe Boxing Club's 'Blonde Bomber' faces into a Junior Cadet semi-final at the National Stadium on Saturday.

Parke goes up against Cherry Orchard's Harry Reddington in a 35kgs semi-final.

That comes after a superb display on Saturday when Parke out-gunned Aidan Moore. Parke firmly had the measure of Moore and claimed a unanimous decision win.

In April, the Glenmaquin lad won his first Irish title when winning the Boy 3 35kgs final, beating Calvin Stokes of Olympic BC.

Previously, the Royal and Prior student lost out in two Irish finals.

In the weekend's other semi-final at 35kgs, Donnacha Beagan of Sean Dorans meets Glasnevin's Emmet Shields.

Dunfanaghy puncher Shaun Doohan is also in semi-final action on Saturday. Doohan takes on St Francis' John Murray.

On Friday night, Molly Lafferty from Twin Towns meets Lucy Prentice of Phoenix BC in a 48kgs quarter-final.
