Rachael Darragh won a bronze medal at the the Lagos International Classic.
The Raphoe woman secured a podium spot before losing out to Lauren Lam, the number one seed, in Friday evening’s semi-final.
Lam, from the United States, won 23-21 21-12.
In a pulsating quarter-final on Friday morning, Darragh overcame Nurani Ratu Azzahra at the Teslim Balogun Stadium.
Irish number one Darragh - who was the silver medallist at the 2021 Lithuanian International - won an epic opener 24-23 before Azzahra, representing the United Arab Emirates, took the second 9-21.
Darragh, the fourth seed, hit back to edge a super third game 21-19, booking her spot in the semi-finals.
The Raphoe woman opened up with a 21-11 21-9 win over Gladys Mbabazi from Uganda.
In the second round, Darragh disposed of Nigeria’s Grace Gabril 21-6 21-9.
At the recent World Championships in Copenhagen, Darragh defeated Doha Hany of Egypt 21-11 22-14 in her opening round before losing out to Denmark’s Mia Blichfeldt 21-14 21-17.
