Rachael Darragh reached the quarter-finals of the Perú Challenge 2023.
The Raphoe woman bowed out at the last-eight phase in Lima.
Darragh lost out 21-7 21-14 to Keisha Fatumah Az Zahra from Azerbaijan in the quarters.
Darragh opened up with two victories over home players Rafaela Castaneda Quintanilla (21-8 21-19) and Fernanda Sayonara Rivva (21-10 21-10)
Darragh won a bronze medal at the the Lagos International Classic, losing out to Lauren Lam, the number one seed, in the semi-finals.
At the recent World Championships in Copenhagen, Darragh defeated Doha Hany of Egypt 21-11 22-14 in her opening round before losing out to Denmark’s Mia Blichfeldt 21-14 21-17.
