Caolan McFadden, Ethan Dewhirst, Oisin Gillespie and Eoin Boyle added to the golden tally for Donegal athletes on the third and final day of the National Juvenile Indoor Championships on Sunday.
At the TUS in Athlone, Cranford AC star McFadden won the Under-18 800m while Gillespie, of Rosses AC, was celebrating glory in the Under-16 high jump.
Tir Chonaill AC's duo Boyle and Dewhirst were tops in the Under-19 high jump and Under-18 60m hurdles.
McFadden scorched his way to the 800m crown when going 1:55.42 for an ultimately comfortably win. Midleton AC's Odhran O'Sullivan was second in 1:56.06 with Nenagh Olympic AC's Daire O'Donnell clocking 1:56.54 for third.
Dewhirst got over the 60m hurdles in 8.25 seconds to win gold from Des O'Neill of Raheny (8.25) and Bandon's Eoin O'Callaghan (8.37).
Boyle cleared 1.87m to win the Under-19 high jump. James Bellew of Cushinstown AC got over at 1.84m for silver and Finisk Valley's Tom Feerick was third with a 1.81m jump, but Boyle returned to Tir Chonaill with the top nugget.
There was a Donegal one-two in the Under-16 high jump. Gillespie bagged gold when clearing 1.76m having been pushed all the way by Mark Wilkinson, the Finn Valley AC man who was second with a 1.73m leap.
Lifford AC's Spencer Cole won silver in the Under-16 shot, throwing to 13.77m, bettered only by Liam Rohan from An Riocht, who reached out to 14.09m.
Ellen James was the Under-14 60m hurdles silver medallist with the Tir Chonaill woman crossing the line in 9.68 seconds, edged by Corran AC's Ruby Cunnane in 9.44 seconds.
Erin Friel, a day after a golden run in the 400m, earned bronze in the Under-17 200m. Friel blasted towards the final bend to get to the line in 25.70 seconds. Gold there went to Milly Daly from Kilkenny City Harriers (24.55) and silver was in the hands of Eimear McGrath of Celbridge (25.47).
Lifford-Strabane AC's Cabrine Pyne threw to 10.10m for bronze in the Under-15 shot and Anya Duffy got over the bar at 2.10m for bronze in the Under-16 pole vault.
There were fourth-place finishes for Cranford AC's Oisin McBride (Under-14 800m), Michael Moore of Cranford (Under-17 800m), Stephen Slevin from Finn Valley AC (Under-17 high jump), Alannah Anderson of Tir Chonaill (Under-17 high jump).
