Donegal jockey Oisin Orr
Rathmullan jockey Oisin Orr claimed victory at Hamilton Park yesterday, riding home a 15/8 winner.
Competing on Jungle Drums in the Wellman Cars Private Hire Hamilton EBF Restricted Maiden Stakes (Bands C & D), Orr secured the top prize of £4,806.
Orr also achieved a third-place finish on the 5/2 contender Persian Phoenix in the Cleanstay At Hampton By Hilton Bothwell Castle Fillies’ Handicap.
Trainer Karl Burke celebrated a successful day with victories from both Jungle Drums and Leovanni (22/1) in the Group 2 Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot.
This success follows Orr's impressive feat of winning four races at Wetherby just two weeks ago.
