Darragh Kelly is targeting a Parisian date in November.

The 'Moville Mauler' put the lights out on Frenchman Mathias Poiron inside the first round on Saturday night,

Now, Kelly, who improved his record to 6-0, wants to put on a show in the City of Light.

A Bellator Champions Series card is planned for Wembley, London in September, but Kelly is eyeing up the November 16 date in Paris.

“I just took out one of the French prospects - put me on that card and I'll take out another one,” Kelly said.

“I need activity. I haven't been out since September.

“I am in this to be a champion. I'm not here just to show up for a pay day. It's everyone's dream to be a champion and that's what I'm aiming for.”

Kelly could also look for a spot in the Professional Fighters League (PFL) tournament.

“If I could get into that European tournament, why not? Either that or just keep me active. Switch me up between the promotions (Bellator and PFL) even and keep me active.”

Kelly ended a nine-month period of inaction by submitting Poiron with a tight guillotine in the opening round at the 3Arena.

The 26-year-old hasn't got anyone in particular in mind as a favoured next step.

He said: “I'll go home and have a look at the division. I have no-one on my mind. The way I fight is that I focus solely on my next opponent.

“My whole life is that the beams are focussed in on that and I haven't thought about anyone in the future yet.”
