It was a significant weekend for Raphoe badminton player Joshua Magee who took home a silver and a bronze medal from the Latvian International at the weekend.
Partnered alongside Clare woman Moya Ryan, the Irish duo reached the final in Latvia, only to lose out to the team of Kaljurand and Rüütel from Estonia in a very close encounter on a 19-21 21-16 21-15 score.
The Irish team had to fight hard to secure their place in the final beating Simon Krax and Amelie Lehmann of Germany on a 20-22 21-12 21-17 scoreline, while in the quarter-final, the pair
