Declan Gallagher will look to make a real mark this weekend, in the Harvest Rally, in a Ford Fiesta R5

Ahead of this weekend’s Donegal Harvest Stages Rally Declan ‘Milkman’ Gallagher got acquainted with a new Ford Fiesta R5.

Gallagher took the modified title in the Donegal International Rally in early summer and is also the defending Harvest modified champion.

Both those wins were secured behind the wheel of his famous Toyota Starlet but. for this weekend, the Ardara native is trying something a little different. 

He spent Saturday afternoon in Ballykelly getting used to the new car and gave a quick update on that experiance on his social media this week. 

“Great day out at Ballykelly at the weekend in the RLA Autosport Rally 2 Fiesta as a bit of a shakedown ahead of the Old Orchard Inn Harvest Stages Rally.

“Keep an eye out here, later in the week, for the official delivery of the car after Declan Boyle DBD Design works their magic on the graphics and branding. Looking forward to the weekend ahead”.
