John Campbell - Clay Pigeon Shooting
Campbell's son Peter accepted the presentation on behalf of the family on the night.
John Campbell was an international who was runner-up in both the Irish and British Opens. His success nationally and abroad saw him win eight Donegal Sports Star Clay Pigeon category Awards, and he had the honour of being named the Overall winner in 1982.
In 1984 he was on the third leg of a four-in-a-row. He had previously won a three-in-a-row in the Clay Pigeon Category from 1978 to 80 and was inducted into the Donegal Sports Star Awards Hall of Fame in 2016.
