Seamus Doherty - Motorsport
Doherty was a regular in rally events in the county and nationally and enjoyed a lot of success in the Clubman Class in the Hillman Imp, Avenger, and Sunbeam.
A mechanic by trade Seamus Doherty was renowned in motorsport circles for building rally cars for local drivers. It was something that gave him immense satisfaction in a mechanical career spanning over five decades.
