Cranan College celebrate their Northwest Regional win
The U-19 girls' basketball team from Crana College has clinched the Northwest Regional Championship title following a thrilling victory against PCC Falcarragh in the regional final.
The match, held on Monday, showcased the resilience and talent of the Crana College squad as they overcame a tough opponent to secure the championship. Despite a slow start, Crana managed to gain a narrow two-point lead by halftime.

However, PCC Falcarragh staged a determined comeback in the third quarter, leaving Crana trailing by four points as the teams entered the final stretch.
In a dramatic fourth quarter, the Crana girls displayed extraordinary grit, teamwork, and determination. They turned the game around with a dominant performance, ultimately claiming a well-earned 32–23 victory.
Crana College now celebrates a proud moment in their sporting history, with the U19 girls standing tall as regional champions.
