Daniel McHugh helped the Ireland U-23 International pool side clinch European victory in Malta this week.
The Irish team topped their group and defeated Scotland in the semi-final before beating England.
Alongside Mayo pair Padraic Coyle and Danny Feehan as well as Sean Walsh from Cork, Kilclooney native Daniel was instrumental in helping the team take the crown.
Ireland seen off Scotland in the last four 8-2 while England were downed 8-5 in the decider.
