Ann-Marie McGlynn was 26th in Belgium
Ann-Marie McGlynn placed 26th in the elite women's half marathon at the European Running Championships in Belgium.
Through the streets of Leuven, Letterkenny AC athlete McGlynn came through in 1:15.53.
It was a Belgian 1-2 with Chloe Herbiet winning in 1:10.43 and Juliette Thomas taking second in 1:10.57.
Sara Nestola from Italy was third, finishing in 1:11.26.
McGlynn was 26th after the opening 5k and her position remained steady throughout the race.

In 2024, McGlynn won the National marathon and cross country titles. Last month, she was the silver medallist at the National 10k Championships in Dunboyne.
