Promising Ballybofey jockey Kyle McHugh claimed another impressive win over the weekend.

At just 19 years old, McHugh guided the Michael Keady-trained Renesmee (13/2) to a narrow victory against favourite City of York during Saturday’s ‘Josh Is Getting Hitched Apprentice Handicap’ at Lingfield.

Showing early determination, McHugh pushed to the front in the final 110 yards to seal the win.

A son of Aine and Shane McHugh, Kyle is quickly establishing himself as one of Donegal’s brightest young talents in horse racing.
