The Irish Masters team that won the European Masters title with Tony Mulhern third from right and, inset, Darragh Gallagher
Darragh Gallagher was crowned Under-15 Blackball European Champion at the European Blackball Pool Championships last week in the West County Hotel in Clare.
The Ballybofey native put in a fantastic performance in the final, dishing five out of the first six frames in Ennis.
And even when his opponent managed to claw the game back and bring the match to a decider, Darragh showed great bottle and composure, taking out a tidy finish to get over the line.
Darragh's U15 team also had a great run in the team event, just coming up short in the final against a very strong Maltese side.

There was another European Champion from Donegal, as Gaoth Dobhair man Tony Mulhern was part of the Irish Masters team who won the team title.
The Irish team defeated Wales in the final, having progressed against current world champions England in the semi-final stage.
