The Donegal Darts team were winners of the West Coast Challenge in Limerick on Saturday.

Donegal defeated Clare in the quarter-finals, before beating Galway at the semi-final stage, winning both games 7-2.

And they took on the host county in the final, with Charlie Grant winning the final match to take an impressive win at the Longcourt House Hotel in Newcastle West.

The Donegal ladies team reached the final after defeating Galway, but came up against a strong Mayo side in the final and were beaten in the decider.

The Donegal teams paid their respects by wearing black tape on their jerseys in honour of their Chairman and Donegal A Manager, John Murray, and one of their PROs and Development Team Managers, Owen Murray, following the passing of their beloved Father and Grandfather, Davy earlier this week.
