Kathryn McDevitt helped Ireland’s 4x100m relay team to gold at the World Masters Championships.
Letterkenny AC’s McDevitt ran the second leg as Ireland’s W40 team took gold.
The Irish quartet finish in 48.80 seconds at the Ratina Stadium in Tampere, Finland.
Avril Dillon, Snezana Bechtina and Sinead O’Regan joined McDevitt in winning gold.
The United States of America - Ahndraea Allen, Adjua Gibb-Gabriel, Lisa Edwards and Inga McIntyre - finished in second, clocking 50.41 seconds.
Finland’s Sanna Erkinheimo, Tanja Liski, Titta Sillman and Katja Larinen were the bronze medalists, finishing in 51.59 seconds.
McDevitt had warmed up for these Championships with a triple gold medal haul at the Ulster Masters, winning 100m, 200m and triple jump events.
McDevitt followed on from Finn Valley AC’s Ciara Kearns who won W35 long jump silver on Tuesday, jumping out to 5.55m.
