Helen McCready and Shane O'Donnell set new PBs in Berlin.
In an event that saw Eliud Kipchoge smash the world marathon record, two Rosses AC athletes set new personal bests at the Berlin Marathon on Sunday.
Helen McCready finished in a superb 2:51:52 to shave over four minutes off her previous best.
McCready, who has shown consistent form and won the recent Donegal Half Marathon, bested her 2:56:03.
Shane O’Donnell also set a new fastest marker when he finished in 2:33:46 to better his previous best of 2:35:44.
Carrickfin man O’Donnell is targeting a sub 2:30 marathon.
Kenyan runner Kipchoge took 30 seconds off his PB when finishing in 2:01:09.
