Ireland will hold the Presidency of the Council of the European Union for the eighth time from July 1 to December 31, 2026
Donegal County Museum has expressed its delight at the visit of the Polish Ambassador ahead of a link-up later this year.
With Ireland set to hold the EU Presidency between July and December this year, the Government has announced a programme to pair each county in the Republic of Ireland with a corresponding EU member state. Donegal is to be paired up with Poland during Ireland’s EU Presidency.
"We were very delighted to welcome the Polish Ambassador to Ireland, HE Artur Michalski and his team to Donegal County Museum this morning," the museum posted.
