Sandfield Pitch and Putt welcomes Séamus Coleman to updated course

Pitch and Putt course had opened remodelled course on July 10
Former Ireland and Everton football captain, Séamus Coleman, paid a visit to the updated Sandfield Pitch and Putt course near Ardara.
A social media post was posted online of Coleman at the site on Sunday, July 12, which read: “We were pleased to welcome back Séamus Coleman at Sandfield Pitch and Putt this evening to get a first look at the New Course and facilities.”
Sandfield Pitch and Putt had announced updates to their course, which was playable from Friday, July 10, including two new holes, a new tee, and the rebuild of the 18th hole, meaning the new course layout for the full 18 holes of the course “will be active for the first time.”
Plans are still in place for the ninth hole to be remodelled, and a new “semi-peninsula Green” to be built, in order to finish the course remodelling.
Killybegs’ Coleman departed Everton this summer after 17 seasons at the Merseyside club, and 435 appearances, including a club-record 374 appearances in the Premier League.
