A Donegal school are fundraising after qualifying for the 2026 VEX Robotics World Championship.
Dromore NS Crossroads in Killygordon have qualified to represent Ireland at the World VEX Championships in St Louis, Missouri.
The team consists of eight children, each accompanied by an adult, along with two teachers. They have established a fundraiser, "From Rural Donegal to the World Stage," to help cover travel and accommodation costs.

Dromore were crowned winners in their category at the VEX Robotics All-Ireland Championships in Cork. The team will now represent Ireland at the VEX Robotics World Championship, taking place from April 21 to April 30, 2026.
The STEM competition challenges students in a variety of areas, encouraging the development of teamwork, collaboration and time-management skills.
