Ronan Doherty
Ronan Doherty marked his 27th birthday on Tuesday by sending Cliftonville to the top of the Irish League Premier Division.
Doherty scored the only goal of the game as the Reds overcame Linfield at Solitude.
The Carndonagh man riffled past Chris Johns in the 12th minute after Ronan Hale flicked on a Sean Moore pass.
Cliftonville manager Paddy McLaughlin drafted Doherty back into the starting XI in place of Chris Currran from Friday's 5-0 win over Dundela in the Irish Cup.
Cliftonville, buoyed by a huge home support, maintained their fine start to the year by rising three points clear, albeit with a game more played than Larne.
Doherty joined Cliftonville from Institute in 2019 having previously impressed for Cockhill Celtic in the Ulster Senior League.
