Ciara Grant celebrates scoring a penalty against Hibs.
Ciara Grant has been named in the Scottish Women’s Premier League (SWPL) Team of the Year.
The Letterkenny woman, who plays for Hearts, has been included on the team, which is voted for by players.
The 29-year-old signed for Hearts last summer having spent the latter part of the 2021/22 season at Rangers.
Grant played for Shelbourne in the Women’s National League prior to signing for Rangers.
The midfielder has had a fine campaign with Hearts guaranteeing their highest ever finish in the SWPL with a 2-1 win over Hibernian on Wednesday night.
Goals by Aimee Anderson and Erin Rennie sealed the win at a sold-out Oriam to ensure Hearts will end the season in fourth.
Grant is joined on the SWPL Team of the Year by Hearts team-mate Emma Brownlie.
Grant scored her first Hearts goal in a win over Aberdeen in October and last month need a dramatic equaliser from a penalty in a draw with Hibs.
The Republic of Ireland international was awarded Hearts Player of the Season last month.
