St Eunan’s NS, Raphoe, were on Wednesday celebrating victory in the ‘B’ Cup, for mixed medium-sized schools, at the FAI Primary School 5s National Finals in the Aviva Stadium.

Managed and coached by George Simmons and Emmet Kelly, St Eunan’s finished top of their section with two wins and a draw from their three outings in Ballsbridge.

With a squad made up of Evan McCarron, Ben Farrell, Orran Kee, Ronan McGranaghan, Odhran McHugh, Lewis Hamilton, Riley McBride and Tiarnan Kelly, the Raphoe side took a brilliant support to the venue.

They opened in some style with a 6-2 win over St John the Apostle, Knocknacarra, Co Galway, which was followed up by a tight 2-2 draw against St. Colman’s NS, Mucklagh, Co Offaly.
