Oran Brogan scored his first two goals for Loughgall on Tuesday night.
The Letterkenny man netted two crackers in a 6-1 win over Valley Rangers in the Mid Ulster Cup.
Brogan fired to the top corner in the 16th minute at Lakeview Park to break his duck for Loughgall. Seven minutes into the second half, Brogan repeated his trick, unleashing another stunning shot to the back of the net.
Benji Magee scored a first-half hat-trick while Jay Boyd added the sixth.
Brogan was recruited by Dean Smith in the summer with op flight football returning to Lakeview for the first time since 2007.
Brogan joined Loughgal from Dergview, where he made 37 appearances in the 2022/23 season after previous spells at Swilly Rovers, Derry City and Kildrum Tigers.
Loughgall, the Championship winners last season, has the curious distinction of being the smallest settlement in Europe – with 282 residents - to have a top-flight football club.
