The fourDonegal Town players who have joined Sligo Rovers
After news in the last few weeks that Donegal Town's talented Kevin Muldoon would be joining Sligo Rovers from Derry City, there is news this week that he will be joined at the Sligo club by three more players from the town.
Jack Glapa, Fintan James and Xavier Bujnowski are all Sligo Rovers bound to take their place in the various underage academy teams.
All four were at the Four Masters underage presentations on Sunday evening last in the Lough Eske Hotel as they picked up various medals at U-13, U-15 and U-17 level.
In his role as MC for the evening, Rory O'Donnell wished all four well in their new adventures and joked that the club had a clause in the agreement to get a percentage of any future transfer. "We could have another Seamie Coleman," said O'Donnell.
The Four Masters clubman, in wishing them all the best, said they would be welcome back at the club at any time.
Muldoon and Glapa were part of the Four Masters minor panel which won the Ulster Minor Club Championship this year; James was goalkeeper for the successful U-15 team while Bujnowski was part of the successful Four Masters U-13 squad.
