Buncrana Hearts boss Gary Duffy says his side has to make home advantage count when they welcome Dublin outfit Harding United to Inishowen on Sunday in the FAI Junior Cup (kick-off, 2pm).

The visitors have a host of familiar faces on board so they’ll know plenty about the Premier Division champions.

Shane Sweeney, Fanad United; Shaun Bonner, Keadue Rovers; Michael Kilfeather, Carndonagh; Shane Gibbons, Jason Ashmore, Bonagee United and Darragh Harper, Illistrin United are all in the Harding ranks.

And Duffy believes his side has their work cut out if they want to make the last 16 of the competition.

“It’s another home draw and we’ve been fortunate enough in that sense with this competition,” he said.

“It’s the last 32 so we know we’re going to be in a real game. We’ve had a look at them but we’ll try to focus as much on ourselves as we can.

“As a Junior team this is the biggest or highest level we can play in so we’re really looking forward to it.

“We are down a few bodies. Aaron McDaid has just come back into it. Cian McGarvey has torn a hamstring. Shaun Mullin is still struggling and we've lost one of our centre backs,  Shaun McDermott.

“We’d a great run last year so we’d love that to continue and go another step further. We’ll show Harding the respect they deserve and we’ll need to be at our best to get over the line”.
