Ronan Curtis was on target for AFC Wimbledon
Ronan Curtis scored his second AFC Wimbledon goal on Saturday.
Curtis marked his first start for The Dons with the opening goal in a 2-0 win over Barrow in League Two.
The St Johnston man struck in the 16th minute at Plough Lane. Paul Farman, the Barrow goalkeeper, only half cleared and Curtis seized the moment.
Curtis bagged a dramatic debut winner in a win over Mansfield.
Curtis scored 57 goals in 226 appearances for Portsmouth before bidding Fratton Park farewell last summer and he was snapped up on a short-term deal by AFC Wimbledon.
Curtis came in for John-Kymani Gordon and repaid manager Johnnie Jackson’s faith.
Omar Bugiel doubled the lead ten minutes after Curtis’s goal as he headed in number two with Barrow reduced to ten men when sub Jamie Proctor was sent off.
