Cappry Rovers Academy U12s completed a remarkable season with victory in the Champions League final on Saturday evening.

A pair of goals by Tiernan Catterson completed a 2-0 win over Donegal Town at The Diamond Park in Ballyare.

Not only were Cappry unbeaten in 2024, goalkeeper Harry McBride managed to go the whole 20 games - 14 between the League and League Cup and six in the Champions League - without conceding a single goal.

Cappry, managed by Paddy McNulty and assisted by Robert Catterson, added a third piece of silverware.

It was all square at half-time after a cagey opening half.

Cappry shifted the momentum in the second half and finally broke the deadlock. A well-coordinated move was finished by the unmarked Catterson, who slotted home in style.

Catterson added a super solo goal for a fitting way to cap a flawless season for the Cappry Park residents.
