Ciaran Coll was unveiled as a Glentoran player

Ciaran Coll has signed an 18-month contract at Irish League Premier Division side Glentoran.

The St Johnston man has been snapped up again by manager Declan Devine, who has coaxed him to The Oval.

Devine was previously the Derry City manager who took Coll to the Brandywell in 2019.

The 33-year-old has departed Derry after making 170 appearances in the Candystripes.

His 18-month contract at Glentoran includes the option to extend for another 12 months.

A statement from the club said: “Ciaran brings a wealth of experience after spending the past 6 years at Derry City, where he was highly thought of by the Brandywell faithful.

“A player Declan Devine knows well - available for selection from January, we can’t wait to see him in a Glentoran shirt.”

Coll scored three goals during his time with Derry.

Earlier this summer, Coll scored Derry’s 1800th goal in league football since their entry into the League of Ireland when he netted in a 5-1 rout of Drogheda United.
