Lukas Doherty and Odhran McHugh represented Northern Ireland this week in Cyprus
Donegal natives and Finn Harps Academy players Lukas Doherty and Odhran McHugh both featured for Northern Ireland in their 3-1 win over Finland on Monday.
It’s been a fantastic week for both lads with this result meaning that Northern Ireland win the Cyprus tournament having beaten the home nation 3-1 last week.
Doherty started that game in midfield while McHugh came off the bench to provide an assist for the final goal.
St Johnston native McHugh, a son of former Harps legend Kevin McHugh, and Newtoncunningham’s Doherty were involved in a seven-day competition where they drew 1-1 in their third match against Hungary with McHugh coming off the bench in that match.
