Carndonagh FC U-17s had too much for Cork’s Bandon AFC on Saturday as a 3-1 win in St Patrick’s Park secured their spot in the quarter-finals of the SFAI Cup.

A minute’s silence was held just prior to kick-off in memory of Tiernan Doherty Kelly. And once the action got underway, the visitors were in front inside the opening minute.

However, Carndonagh pulled two back before the break, thanks to Olly Coyle and Shay McDaid to go in 2-1 at half-time.
