Donegal native Sean Patton
In a standout pre-season performance, Sean Patton netted a hat-trick to secure Derry City's 3-2 win against Sligo Rovers.
The 18-year-old striker, who hails from Drumkeen, has been making significant strides in his football career.
Patton began his journey with the Finn Harps Academy before joining Derry City, where he made his senior debut last year. In the 2024 season, he made five Premier Division appearances for the Candystripes.

To gain more first-team experience, Patton signed a new contract with Derry City in July 2024 and simultaneously secured a loan move to Finn Harps until the end of the season.
During his loan spell, Patton made an immediate impact by scoring the winning goal on his debut against Kerry FC.
His consistent performances earned him a call-up to the Republic of Ireland Under-19 squad, where he scored on his debut in a 3-1 victory over Slovakia
