Fanad will face Waterford side Tramore AFC on February 16
Fanad United will host Tramore AFC from Waterford in the sixth round of the FAI Junior Cup on February 16 at Traigh-a-Loch.
The Donegal Premier Division champions are the only side from the county left in the Junior competition following Letterkenny Rovers' 3-1 defeat to Mervue United and Cockhill Celtic's 2-0 loss to Avenue of Clare last weekend, while Fanad secured a comfortable 3-0 win of Harding FC from Dublin.
Fanad were much the better team in the first half and they led 1-0 at the break with Paddy Carr scoring a fine goal in the 27th minute.

The home side missed a host of chances in the second half but another goal did arrive in the 78th minute when Eoin Logue converted a penalty after Darren McElwaine was fouled.
A third goal then arrived late on when Martin McElhinney tapped home from close range.
Fanad United have twice won the FAI Intermediate Cup before, in 1988 and 1995, having also lost the 1996 final.
Tramore on the other hand overcame Cork visitors Avondale United at Graun Park with a 1-0. Dara O’Brien was the hero for the Seagulls as his early strike was enough to put Leigh Quilty’s side into last-16 of the cup contest.
