Finn Harps strengthen attack with signing of Gradi Lomboto

New Finn Harps signing Gradi Lomboto

Finn Harps have bolstered their attacking options with the signing of Gradi Lomboto for the 2025 season.

The forward joins the club following a successful trial period and will be looking to make an impact in the upcoming campaign.

Lomboto, a product of the Galway United Academy, enjoyed an impressive spell at youth level, netting 13 goals in 27 appearances for the club’s MU20 side last season. His performances caught the attention of Harps, who moved to bring him into their squad ahead of the new season.

Manager Darren Murphy expressed his excitement about the addition, praising Lomboto’s attributes and potential.

“We’re really pleased to add Gradi to the squad ahead of the big kick-off. He has impressed since he’s been in, he’s eager to prove himself at senior level and his powerful, direct style gives us a real threat in that area of the pitch,” Murphy told club media.

The signing comes just as Finn Harps prepare to kick off their SSE Airtricity League First Division campaign, with their opening fixture taking place tonight away to Kerry FC.
