Sligo Rovers' ace Paula McGrory
Paula McGrory will be staying put at the Showgrounds for the 2025 season.
The Buncrana native has confirmed she’s committed to the Bit O’Red ahead of the new League of Ireland Woman’s Premier Division season.
It’s a further boost to a side looking to improve on a very disappointing 2024 season after Rovers won just one league game and scored only 13 times in 20 league matches.
Sligo also conceded the joint-highest number of league goals, along with Cork City, letting in 41 last season as they finished bottom of the table.

But with Steve Feeney back at the helm of the Sligo senior women’s team for the new campaign, McGrory is confident things can improve.
Taking to social media, she explained: “I’m so happy to be back playing for this club. It’s also great to have Stevie return as manager and to have the certainty of knowing that he trusts and believes in us”.
