Keri Loughrey has signed for Linfield

Keri Loughrey is targeting silverware after making the move to NIFL Premiership side Linfield.

The 19-year-old from Buncrana has left Sligo Rovers and moved to The Blues.

Loughrey is a Republic of Ireland underage international.

“I’m very excited to get going,” she said. “Pre-season has been great so far and I can’t wait for the League to get going.

“Training has been good and sharp so far.”

Last season, Loughrey played 26 times for Sligo Rovers, with the midfielder weighing in with three goals.

She was named as the Player’s Player of the Year at the Bit O’Red in 2024.

On the season ahead, she said: “It’ll be sharp. I’d love to win some silverware.”

Her sister, Jodie, is currently on the treatment table as she recovers from a serious knee injury.
