Day one of the Donegal Primary 5 competition took place this week in Letterkenny and Gweedore.

There were a total of 26 teams, 16 boys and 10 girls with some 208 players turning out.

The Boys of Gaelscoil na gCeithre Maistrí and Scoil Mhuire Na Doire Beaga and the girls from Frosses NS and SN Anagaire qualified for the county finals after a fantastic day of football.

Organisers have extended a massive thanks to the transition year students from Pobalscoil Ghaoth Dobhair, and players from Letterkenny Rovers and Finn Harps women’s U19s for their help.
