Fanad United Reserves clinch league title in dominant fashion

Fanad United’s Reserves secured the Finn Travel Saturday Division Three title in style, following a commanding 4-0 victory over Drumkeen United Reserves.  

The triumph marks a stellar season for the team, whose consistency and dedication have been rewarded with silverware as they finish on 40 points from 15 games with only one defeat throughout the entire season in the league. 

Goals from Charlie McAteer (2), Adam Carr, and Darragh O'Doherty sealed the win, ensuring that Fanad United finished the day as champions with a game still to play against Bonagee United Reserves.  

Their impressive record of 13 wins, one draw, and just one defeat over the course of the campaign highlights the strength and resilience they have displayed throughout the season. 

The squad is a blend of youthful talent and seasoned experience, with the majority of players still in their teens. This mix has provided a perfect balance, allowing the younger players to develop while benefiting from the guidance of their more experienced teammates.
