Dale Gorman scored for Woking

Dale Gorman hit the winner for Woking in a 1-0 win over Flyde on Saturday.

Gorman struck gold in the 76th minute at Kingfield Stadium.

The Letterkenny man’s strike was the only separator in the Vanarama National League clash.

Fourteen minutes from the end, Gorman fired a brilliant effort beyond ‘keeper Ben Winterbottom after his initial effort was blocked.

Woking are now 16th in the division with Flyde bottom-but-one in 23rd.

The 28-year-old Gorman moved to Woking, who are managed by ex-Wimbledon player Neal Ardley, last summer having previously been at Barnet.
